Farshid Arshid

Founding Member

Farshid Arshid, co-founder, brings a diverse international background spanning sports, entertainment, and hospitality. Born in Tehran and educated in Rolle near Geneva, he later moved to Houston, where he competed in both tennis and soccer at the collegiate level, including at Houston Baptist University. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Psychology from the University of Houston.


After relocating to Atlanta in 1994, Arshid built a successful career in high-end retail before transitioning into the music industry. Over a 15-year span, he worked closely with major artists including Elton John, Jermaine Dupri, and Dallas Austin, as well as bands like Collective Soul and Rehab. His experience also includes collaborations with leading record labels such as Atlantic Records, Universal Music Group, Sony Music Entertainment, BMG, and Warner Music Group.


Following his success in music, Arshid entered the hospitality industry, founding and developing acclaimed Japanese dining concepts in Atlanta, including Umi and Himitsu, both recognized as premier destinations for Japanese cuisine in the United States, with expansion into New York City.


Since 2016, Arshid has been actively involved in professional tennis, working across the ATP Tour and WTA Tour. He has supported, managed, and advised players such as Denis Kudla, Jennifer Brady, Alison Riske-Amritraj, Peyton Stearns, Jordan Thompson, and Rajeev Ram—helping develop talent, build teams, and guide careers at the highest level of the sport.
